Im not sure if I have the "green thumb"
Just wanna say hi!!! Im happy to say that my back up plants are alive (still) and will continue to grow (hopefully). I'm sure that alot of that is due to my fiancee taking such amazing care of them. They are like his babies :) They all have special planters and get watered when they need to. I will admit that I am really forgetful and always forget to either water them or I will water them twice (over water). So hopefully soon I will have some tomatoes growing off them and possibly some green bell peppers ..... So we will wait and see!

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteGlad your plants are back to live. It is nice watching them grow every day. They really are like little babies! if you take care of them very well, you will enjoy watching them grow.
How sweet! You know you've found the right person when he babies your tomatoes. lol Keep the faith! My tomatoe plants got demolished three times by my dog, and a few of them still hung in there and grew new leaves. Your plants will be fine! Here's a little tip for later... When you start to see flowers on them, feed them fish fertilizer. You'll get TONS of peppers and especially tomatoes. Beware... It stinks to high heaven and if you have cats within 4 square miles they'll come looking for the fish. lol Thought I'd better share that.
ReplyDeleteKim, I think it is great that your plants are alive and being taken care of, Just like every woman needs to be. I am not one to take the best care of plants either, but this experience has really given me a new outlook. In Colville, our plants are outside not to far from the doors we walk into so I get to walk by everyday to see how well they are doing. I look forward to your presentation and how they came out.
ReplyDeleteHey! Glad to hear your plants are growing! Taking care of them like your own chidlren is an amazing feeling to have. And having a partner that will take care of you is wonderful! keep up the good work and keep succeeding in college! (:
ReplyDeleteThat's good that your plants are still alive and growing. Have you tried setting an alarm or reminder on your phone, computer, or another device to remind you to plant them? I have the same problem sometimes, and I have found that this helps me. Well good luck with your plants and a big hand to your fiance for his help.
